The Frederick J Quencer CPA accounting firm, a well-respected locally owned and operated 2nd generation business, provides advise and tax filing services to both local businesses and individuals. We act as consultants on many issues, including taxes and accounting. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), we are a trusted financial advisor who helps individuals, businesses, and other organizations plan and reach their financial goals.

Our firm was established in 1966 by Frederick J. Quencer.  We have continuously been in operation since that time. Fred’s son, Gary F. Quencer,received his license as a CPA in 1992 and worked along side his dad until his passing in 2008.  At which time Gary took over the family firm.

Today Gary F. Quencer CPA has the lead role in the firm and through his guidance the firm has continued to grow and maintain a very satisfied base of clients. Gary’s community involvement keeps him well grounded in the needs and trends surrounding the North Country. He is a past president and current treasurer of the Town of Brownville Lions Club while he also is seated as the financial chair of District 20-W of LIONS Clubs. His extensive work with not-for-profits including the Town of Brownville Joint Fire District and Airport Christian Fellowship Church keep his training up to date. He is also a member in good standing with the NYSCPA, NFIB, and NSA.
